Bill Koeb is an American painter, printmaker and writer who moves between realism and abstraction. His work is collected worldwide and has appeared in magazines, films. His work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Belgium, and several other venues.
in 2015 he had a solo show at Anno Domini Gallery in San Jose, CA. It featured 45 monotypes exploring the relationship between what we see on the surface and what lies beneath. We have hidden lives and desires, stories we never share with others, things people wouldn't guess about us from looking.
He is currently working on a series of paintings about current events including the Standing Rock water protecters' protest of the DAPL and the state of America after the 2016 presidential election as well as a series of smaller, abstract paintings.
